TEC - An International Network of Experience and Advice
TEC boasts over 14,000 members worldwide. TEC and its international partners can link you to a global community that shares its successes and experience in an ever-expanding business network.
TEC members visiting another city or country are encouraged to attend TEC meetings and to make contact with members from not only their own but other industries too. You are encouraged to take full advantage of the combined experience of the worldwide CEO peer group community.
There are a number of opportunities for membership:
- TEC Groups are designed for chief executives running larger businesses. These programs are open to CEOs and business leaders who face make-or-break decisions every day. TEC focuses on larger, established organisations with an annual turnover of more than $5 million.
- The TEC Roundtable Program is designed for business leaders of emerging companies with an annual turnover generally in the range of $1.5 million - $5 million. The distinction between membership to a TEC group and a TEC Roundtable is assessed on a case-by-case basis, but the objective is to get similar business issues together in a group. For example; larger, more mature businesses are often dominated by HR and expansion issues. Whereas these issues are largely irrelevant to leaders of emerging businesses who rarely have time to look beyond day-to-day operations, and are more likely be troubled by cash-flow and investment concerns.
- The Key Executive Program is for senior executives, other direct reports of the Chief Executive, for start-up companies and emerging entrepreneurs. The KEY Executive program is designed to enhance the personal and professional development of senior executives of TEC member companies interested in contributing significantly to their company's success. Increasingly, executives who are not aligned to TEC members are viewing the KEY Executive program as the best opportunity to prepare for their future step into a CEO role.
- The TEC Partner Program (TPP) is for professional service providers. Inspired as a means to extend the TEC advantage to our members' client bases, the TEC Partner Program enables Client Managers and BDMs from a range of client-driven industries, to develop better relationship management techniques and gain the same advantages for business acumen and professional growth that the full TEC program offers CEOs. TPP additionally provides a best practice forum with top industry speakers, designed so that TPP members can expose their client CEOs to cutting-edge thinking as a value-add service.
